Remembering the King
My yoga routines are usually set to either new-age soothing tunes with oriental overtones (how typical) or to no music at all. This morning, our teacher surprised us by playing Michael Jackson ballads.
Almost everyone remembers that fateful day, 2 years ago, June 25th 2009, when the King of Pop died. In Montreal, it was a stormy and rainy afternoon, I had to run into a store to avoid the sudden thundershowers that darkened the sky and frightened all the dogs outside. It was at that moment, my mobile rang, and I just knew it would be bad news.
